Finding Your Partner
Choosing the right Caregiver for your loved ones can be difficult. MyPartners In Living will strive to match your loved ones needs and wants with specific Caregivers. We conduct background checks, random drug screens, and health screens on all of our Caregivers to assure your security and confidence. In addition, our Caregivers are insured and bonded.
This is where you can help us make the right match.
Please contemplate these next few questions:
- Do we need to remind the Client to take their medication?
- Do you want a Caregiver to take Client for a walk?
- Do you need to be driven to appointments by a Caregiver?
- Do you prefer a Caregiver that has their own car?
- Do you want the Caregiver to transport the Client to the Doctors office, physical therapy, shopping and recreational outings?
- Do you want a Caregiver that does light cleaning and cooking?
- Do you want a caregiver to produce gourmet meals? (In any particular style?)
- Do you want a Caregiver closer in age to the Client?
- Do you want the Caregiver to play games, read books or watch TV with the Client?
- Do you want the Caregiver to strive to stimulate Client.
- Do you want a live-in Caregiver?
- Are there any particular subjects that the Client likes to discuss or any that they might not want to discuss?
- Are there things that you want the Caregivers to do that we have not asked?
Please answer these questions and forward to MyPartners In Living any other request you might think of. We strive to make a successful match between the Caregiver and Client. We only hire caregivers who can communicate effectively with our clients.
Remember this is like a marriage and all matches may not work out. As hard as MyPartners In Living strives to make good matches, sometimes personalities just are not compatible. If a Caregiver is not working out, just call us and we will replace them.
