Like many of the general population, the MyPartners In Living Executive Team has had many first hand experiences in taking care of loved ones. These experiences have given us an extra incentive and impetus to enter the Companions and Homemaker business.
David Swanson
President and CEO
David Swanson has owned and operated Mortgage Solutions, Inc. and Reverse Mortgage Solutions since 1988. David is a long time Connecticut resident residing in North Haven. He is a graduate of Southern Connecticut University with a Degree in Business Economics and Marketing. Before opening Mortgage Solutions Inc. he was one of the top Sales Leaders for Citicorp Mortgage, Inc.
One of the reasons for opening MyPartners In Living was Davids personal experience with the trials and tribulations of taking care of his mother and father in their latter years. He has also served the Senior Community of Connecticut through Reverse Mortgage Solutions for the last five years. He was the Producer and Broadcaster of the Senior Center Show on North Haven Public TV providing public awareness of Senior News and upcoming Events.
Gibbs Nance
Marketing Director
Gibbs Nance brings over 35 years of business and sales experience in the Real Estate and Mortgage Industry to MyPartners In Living. He and his wife Linda moved to Durham, Connecticut from Houston, Texas in March 2004. They bought the Lemual Moffet Historic House, circa 1742, in Durham and are in the process of restoring and preserving it for future generations.
Gibbs's experience in taking care of his invalid mother for ten years after her husband died in 1994 gives him a unique perspective on In-Home Care. His mother needed care and companionship for those ten years and his experience in hiring and managing these caregivers himself led him to join with the Swansons to found MyPartners In Living.
Kathleen Swanson
Care Manager
Kathleen has been with Mortgage Solutions since 1992. She graduated from Southern Connecticut University with a Business Economics Degree, a concentration in Marketing and an English Minor.
Kathy, a lifetime Connecticut resident, brings her Accounting, Marketing and Human Resource skills to MyPartners In Living to help our Clients live a better life. Kathy indentified the need for financial planning and researched and added the Reverse Mortgage product line to Mortgage Solutions, Inc. She assisted her parents in getting a chair lift to make the upstairs of their home more assessable. She has worked with area Senior Clients over the past five years in processing Reverse Mortgages and has offered on going assistance to our senior Clients.
Kathy insists on our Clients being treated with dignity and compassion. Her working experience in Bridgeport Hospital and in visiting her ailing Grandparents in Nursing homes has given her this special vision. She interviews our prospective caregivers with the approach of would I allow this Caregiver take care of my family?

MyPartners In Livings Business Development Managers are an integral part of our business. Their jobs are to manage, implement, and spread the MyPartners In Living Vision.
Mark Butterworth
Southwest District
Business Development Manger
Mark Butterworth brings over twenty years of sales and marketing experience in the Sporting Goods Industry to MyPartners In Living. Mark graduated from the University of Connecticut earning a BA in 1977. Mark, his wife Martha, and son Andrew, have lived in North Haven, Connecticut for over 26 years. Mark has been active in community projects and youth sports during this time, currently serving as President of the North Haven Youth Lacrosse League.
Mark also helped his aging parents remain in their home as they experienced increasing need for care and companionship. Mark brings this compassion and personal experience to MyPartners In Living to help us care for our Clients.
William (Bill) Eager
Northern District
Business Development Manger
William (Bill) Eager retired from IBM Corporation after 30 years to help Connecticut families solve their Home Care challenges. Since 2004, he has become a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) through The Society of Certified Senior Advisors, licensed with the CT Banking commission to advise and produce Reverse Mortgages, qualified to write and offer Partnership for Long Term Care by the State of Connecticut Department of Policy and Management and is a licensed insurance professional.
Bills expertise at IBM in consultative Solutions Development and sales, Organizational and Cultural Change Management, Corporate Data Telecomm and Web Solutions, has prepared him to offer MyPartners In Living Clients unique solutions to their In-Home Care problems.
As with most of us, Bill has also had experience in caring for a senior loved one. In her latter years, Bills mother developed Alzheimers in 2001 and had a severe stroke four years later. After taking care of his mother, Bill recognizes the need for quality care that MyPartners In Living can provide.
Jonathan Mix
Eastern District
Business Development Manager
Jonathan Mix has been in the Medical Supply Industry for over 25 years. Owning his own company, Connecticut Ortho-Flex, for twenty years. Specializing in orthopedic and physical therapy products, Connecticut Ortho-Flex served area hospitals, rehab centers, and many in-home care clients over those years.
Jonathan also has a unique perspective on senior care in that he is presently responsible for his 90 year old mothers care and well being.
Jonathan is a life long resident of Connecticut and one of his hobbies is sailing. He has sailed the entire East Coast of the United States and spent a summer Racing in France. He has also been a past officer and Commodore of The Windjammers Sailing Club of Milford, Connecticut.
Jonathan has joined MyPartners In Living to help build a new company that is helping make our slogan Aging Gracefully Together come true.
